The mission of On Purpose Mentoring is to encourage mentorship by connecting young adults with professionals to not only provide advice, but to also provide integrated, real-world learning experiences in real career situations.
I have an ambitious goal to connect professionals that want to be a blessing to those that need a mentor to have a better chance at success. Right now, I’m starting by offering mentoring to those that are interested in an IT career. We hope you’ll join us!

Offerings
We offer a variety of ways to help individuals determine if a career field is right for them and what it entails, potentially becoming a long term mentorship relationship. A typical progression could look something like the below.
Career Path Overview
One time meeting where professionals can share insights into their career path. This session is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the field, helping mentees assess whether this career aligns with their interests and goals.
In Depth Knowledge Sessions
After the overview, if it seems like a career path that the mentee might want to pursue, we’ll have multiple sessions to go deeper into the field and what it takes to be successful. These sessions will equip participants with valuable knowledge and skills, enhancing their understanding and preparing them for future opportunities within the industry.
Ongoing mentorship and real world experience
Finally, for those that still have a strong interest and show an aptitude for the field, we hope to provide a long-term mentoring relationship. This includes hands-on experience through real client projects, allowing mentees to apply their learning in practical settings. Together, we will navigate the complexities of the field, fostering professional development and growth over time.
There is zero cost for mentoring
However, if you have the means and want to make a donation to help us reach those in greater need, we partner with a non profit ministry to accept tax deductible donations. Proceeds will be used for things like computers or possibly even college tuition for someone in needs.
